On-Line Petition: The FDA Needs to Hear from You

The FDA has become a politicized agency and has ignored its mandate to safeguard the public health. The recent resignations of Dr. Susan Wood, director of the FDA's Office of Women's Health, and Dr. Frank Davidoff, consultant to the FDA's Nonprescription Drugs Advisory Committee, in protest of the delay in issuing a decision on over-the-counter status for EC are further proof that politics is trumping science in this administration.
The FDA must hear from the public if we have any chance of stopping this ideologically motivated effort to keep a safe and effective drug out of women's hands.
