MCDAC to Hold Common
Sense Meeting on March 17th
On March 17th, from 10 am to
noon, the Medina County Democratic Action
Committee will be holding a meeting to discuss
the future of Common Sense,
Our goal is to make Common Sense Medina
County's source of news about local and county
government. To accomplish this, however, we
need your help. Please plan on attending the
meeting on March 17th at the

Mortelette has decided to run for Ward 1
Councilperson. He graduated with Pat McNamara
and is a good friend, incredibly dynamic, and
passionate. His win would put us one step
closer to reclaiming
The
dilemma is one of time. His petitions need to
be in the hands of the board of elections by
4:00 on Feb 22. We need to obtain 100 good,
solid, registered voters (from Ward 1 only) in
the next 7 days. Anyone wishing to solicit
signatures should email or call Pat McNamara's
home and leave a message. If we all pitch in,
we can get this done on Saturday.

Around 40
Medina County Democrats turned out on Saturday,
February 10th, to learn about campaigning
methods and tactics. Speakers included Medina
County Prosecutor Dean Holman, Domestic
Relations Judge Mary Kovack, Medina County
Common Pleas Judge James Kimbler, Pat Walker,
John Celebrezze, and Carol Gurney. The meeting
was moderated by Mary Odgen, who moderated the
Strategic Initiative meetings in 2005.

during 2007 and 2008. If you are interested in
