John Edwards wins Medina County Mock Caucus!!!

About 55 people showed up Saturday morning, August 25th to learn how Iowa runs their presidential primary elections.  After listening to speeches on each of the eight candidates, the voters went to candidate stations to cast their vote.  The first round produced four viable candidates:

• Hillary Clinton
• John Edwards
• Bill Richardson
• Dennis Kucinich

Round 2 voting determined that John Edwards was Medina County's choice with Dennis Kucinch coming in second, Bill Richardson in third and Hillary Clinton in last place. 

In addition, the winner of the "Under 18 Ballott" was unanimous for Hillary Clinton.
