CONNIE SCHULTZ BACK IN MEDINA COUNTY BY POPULAR DEMAND

Check out when, where, and how you can hear Connie Schultz talk about her new book about life on the Ohio campaign trail with her husband, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, by clicking here: http://cmpgnr.com/r.html?c=1043669&r=1042853&t=387118452&l=1&d=88718703&u=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2emedinacountycommonsense%2ecom%2f&g=0&f=-1 and then going to the page titled "Democratic Announcements."

BLUE BUSINESSES IN MEDINA COUNTY

When the national buyblue.com website recently ceased operations, progressives lost a valuable resource. The site was a one-stop-shop of information for those wishing to vote with their pocketbook, and support companies that operate in a socially conscious manner. There are still a few online resources available, such as buybluecolorado.org, which researches companies based in Colorado or with a large Colorado presence, to inform consumers about whether these companies operate in line with progressive values. Ohio does not have a buyblue presence on the web, but maybe Medina County can. I would like to compile a list of businesses, and service providers, sympathetic to progressive causes. There is no reason to financially support businesses or service-providers who simply take our hard-earned money, and support local republican candidates with it. If you are a proud democrat, and adhere to progressive values, and you operate a business or offer a service, we want to know about it. We want to support you! Please email your name and business or service, to markk@deepcleveland.com. The list will eventually be circulated via the Medina County Democratic Action Committee. -- Mark Kuhar
