New MCDAC Project
Last month
40 MCDAC volunteers help distribute
approximately 22,000 copies of Common Sense to
targeted Democratic precincts. Now we are
looking for help for another project. MCDAC
wants to publish and distribute a June issue of
Common Sense. To accomplish this goal we need
two things: (1). volunteers to help pass out
Common Senseand (2). money to publish the
piece.
If you are interested in
volunteering, please send us your name and
address to
joycekimbler@medinacountydemocraticactioncommittee.org
and put "volunteer" in the subject line. If you

being a County Coordinator for any of the
following campaigns: Richard Cordray for
Treasurer; Marc Dann for Attorney General;
Barbara Sykes for Auditor; Betty Sutton for
Congress (13th District); Tom Shaw for Congress
(16th District); Ben Espy for Ohio Supreme
Court; Judge William O'Neill for Ohio Supreme
Court; Clair Dickinson for 9th District Court
of Appeals. I will forward your name and
contact info to the appropriate
campaign.
Let me know also if you'd like
to work on the campaigns of Jack Schira for
69th District State Representative; James Riley
for 97th District State Representative; John
Dean for County Commissioner; Judge Mary
Kovack; Lori Henry for Medina Municipal Clerk;

Bush
re-names his "War on Terror". He is now calling
it WWIII. We are assuming that this new name
polls better for the GOP. That's right, we
forgot, Bush doesn't look at polls. Good thing,
too, as the link below shows. http://postsnet.com/r.html?c=699984&r=699297&t=387118452&l=1&d=87070891&u=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2eabc%2enet%2eau%2fnews%2fnewsitems%2f200605%2fs1632213%2ehtm&g=0&f=-1

Does a bear defecate in the woods? Is the Pope
Catholic? Does Bush live in a bubble? Is the
GOP, (okay, okay, you get the
picture)
Former Senator Alan Simpson,
(R-WY), is shocked, shocked we tell you, that
House Republicans won't pass a mental health
bill because it has Democratic co-sponsors.
GOP's version of bi-partisanship: Put a
Democratic sponsor on a bill and kiss it
good-bye. http://postsnet.com/r.html?c=699984&r=699297&t=387118452&l=1&d=87070900&u=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2ewashingtonpost%2ecom%2fwp%2ddyn%2fcontent%2farticle%2f2006%2f05%2f11%2fAR2006051101757%2ehtml&g=0&f=-1
Hartford
newspaper claims that mentally unfit soldiers
are being forced to fight in Iraq in violation
of the Army's own policies. The result is an
increase in suicides by American military

Republican
Senator Hagel, (R-NB), disses Bush's plan to
put National Guard troops on the border of the
U.S. and Mexico. Is a civil war about to break
out in the Republican party over immigration?
