New MCDAC Project
Last month
40 MCDAC volunteers help distribute
approximately 22,000 copies of Common Sense to
targeted Democratic precincts. Now we are
looking for help for another project. MCDAC
wants to publish and distribute a June issue of
Common Sense. To accomplish this goal we need
two things: (1). volunteers to help pass out
Common Senseand (2). money to publish the
piece.
If you are interested in
volunteering, please send us your name and
address to
joycekimbler@medinacountydemocraticactioncommittee.org
and put "volunteer" in the subject line. If you
want to donate to this cause, please click here

Although we will be running a coordinated

being a County Coordinator for any of the
following campaigns: Richard Cordray for
Treasurer; Marc Dann for Attorney General;
Barbara Sykes for Auditor; Betty Sutton for
Congress (13th District); Tom Shaw for Congress
(16th District); Ben Espy for Ohio Supreme
Court; Judge William O'Neill for Ohio Supreme
Court; Clair Dickinson for 9th District Court
of Appeals. I will forward your name and
contact info to the appropriate
campaign.
Let me know also if you'd like
to work on the campaigns of Jack Schira for
69th District State Representative; James Riley
for 97th District State Representative; John
Dean for County Commissioner; Judge Mary
Kovack; Lori Henry for Medina Municipal Clerk;

"Having been called names, one
looks back at one's own angry outbursts over
the years, and I recall having once referred to
Republicans as "hairy-backed swap developers,
freelance racists, hobby cops, line jumpers,
aluminum-siding salesmen, misanthropic frat
boys, shrieking midgets, tax cheats, cat
stranglers, pill pushers, backed-up Baptists,
mouthbreathers and brownshirts in pinstripes."
I look at these words now, and "cat stranglers"
seems excessive to me. The number of cat
stranglers in the ranks of the Republican Party
is surely low, and that reference was hurtful
to Republicans and to cat owners. I feel
sheepish about it."-Garrison
