Campaign without Campaigning?!?!?!

The Medina County Farmers' Market, held on Saturday, August 23, Saturday, September 9, and Saturday, September 23 provide a good way for the candidates (and other civic-minded democrats) to interact with parts of the voting populace they might not ordinarily get to. The market will be in the parking lot behind the County Courthouse, and will be from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Just by living your life, and purchasing locally grown (read: grown by voters), fresh produce you will have an opportunity to interact with folks you might not reach otherwise. Since the market itself is a non-partisan, open-air place of commerce and community it is asked that you do not wear campaign t-shirts.  Buttons, stickers, and the like are fine, but the market is non-partisan.Support your county Farmers' Market, buy local, buy fresh, and keep your dollars in Medina County!  Your purchases help Entrepreneurial Farmers keep their land, stay in business, pay their taxes, and contribute to the rich urban/rural diversity still found in this county.

In the 8/17/2006 issue of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Mike DeWine says he is opposed to Social Security privatization, yet in March he voted for the DeMint Amendment which would have created private accounts. According to Time Magazine, Hillary Clinton is the "most polarizing political figure in America today". That means, of course, that Time doesn't think that Bush fits that description. Anyway, if you want to read the story, here is the link: http://postsnet.com/r.html?c=765236&r=764520&t=387118452&l=1&d=87373900&u=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2etime%2ecom%2ftime%2fmagazine%2farticle%2f0%2c9171%2c1229053%2c00%2ehtml&g=0&f=-1

As a Texas consultant, Masset said, "There was a real sense of him (Rove) being a total self-centered (person) who didn't care about anybody. He would literally destroy people who tried to oppose him." Now they like him. Why? Because he put Bush in office and built up the Texas Republican Party. Apparently destroying people is okay for Texan Republicans if done in the name of Bush. http://postsnet.com/r.html?c=765236&r=764520&t=387118452&l=1&d=87373897&u=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2emysanantonio%2ecom%2fnews%2fmetro%2fstories%2fMYSA082006%2e05B%2erove%2e2efb8c8%2ehtml&g=0&f=-1
