Uncle Sam Needs YOU!

You are needed to run for office in Medina County. The Medina County Democratic Party's Committee of Informed Citizens wants to make sure that there are Democrats running for every office this year.

Township Trustee, Township Clerk, Council, Mayor, and School Board positions are up for election in 2007. Wadsworth Democratic Group is Looking for Candidates

This past week the Wadsworth Democratic Group sent out postcards to about 710 Wadsworth Democrats announcing its interest in recruiting candidates for local city offices. If you are interested, the WDG will help you with all paperwork and help organize your campaign. The WDG already has a strong mayoral candidate and a candidate for Ward 3, but is looking for candidates for all other offices. If interested email Julie Batey at juliebatey@neo.rr.com.

Become a Precinct Chair for the WDG
The Wadsworth Democratic Group is looking for committed Wadsworth and Wadsworth area Dems to become precinct chairs. If you are interested email juliebatey@neo.rr.com.

Anti-War Activity Planned for Washington, D.C.

NOAC Bus Trip to D.C. (Northeast Ohio Anti-War Coalition & United for Peace & Justice) The purpose of the march is to call on the new Congress to take immediate action to end the war.

The bus departs from Cleveland on Friday, January 26, 2006 at 11:30 p.m.(leaves from Gordon Square - W. 65th & Detroit). The bus will return to Cleveland on Sunday, January 28, 2007 - early morning.

The cost is $50 per person ($60 after January 12, 2007.)
