About the events:
Members of Senator Brown’s staff, the IRS, the Small Business Administration (SBA), the U.S. Export Assis-tance Center, and the Department of Agriculture (USDA) will be on hand at the seminar to discuss op-portunities for small and minority-owned businesses, including opportunities related to health insurance reform, the HIRE Act, the Recovery Act, and the U.S. Export Assistance Center, as well as contracting op-portunities with the U.S. government.
Topics will include:
- What health insurance reform means for your business
- What the HIRE Act incentives mean for your business
- Loan programs with the Small Business Administration
- Energy Efficiency Incentives for Businesses
- Export assistance and increasing your export sales
- Selling to the federal government as a way to increase sales
