"Democratic Values" by Buz Cormany

Republicans, especially the far right, are fond of calling Democrat's religious and moral values into question.  It is time to refer to two Bible verses with exapmles of Republican values to follow:  "Judge not that you also be judged." & "Do not speak of the speck in your neighbor's eye when you have a log in your own."

Reverand Pat Robertson:  "Better that we assissinate Mr. Chevez [President of Venezuala].  It is cheaper than waging war."  Governor Bob Taft:  "I take action against subordinate's accepting unreported gifts from lobbyists by firing them."  President Bush:  "I have ordered a full investigation into who revealed the identity of secret CIA agent Valerie Plame, and that person will be fired."

Fellow Democrats, may we rally around the core values that we know to be our traditional identity.  We need the help of each and every one of you.
