Nick Hanek Receives John J. Gilligan Young Democrat of the Year Award

Saturday evening at the Ohio Democratic Party State Dinner Nick received the John J. Gilligan Young Democrat of the Year Award. 

"Governor John J. Gilligan is a lifetime advocate and role model for young Ohioans, from his days teaching literature at Xavier University, to his time as Governor, to his service on the Cincinnati School Board.  This award is presented to a young Democrat who as shown exemplary leadership and given outstanding service on behalf of Democrats in Ohio ". 

The award was presented by Senate Minority Leader Capri Cafaro and Speaker of the House Armond Budish.  This award is a tribute to Nick's involvement and hard work with various Democratic organizations and groups.
